Mental health therapy is intended to help you develop insight and skills to better manage your mental, emotional, and physical distress no matter what the root cause of your concerns may be. Pain Trauma Institute mental health professionals span a wide range of licensure from licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFT), psychologists (PhD), to professional clinical counsellors (PCC) and more. No matter the licensure, each provider shares a whole-person approach to every patient they work with while bringing their own unique experiences and expertise to your healing practice. We recommend you decide who you want to work with based on their individual areas of expertise and the connection you feel to them as a mental health professional rather than which kind of mental health licensure they carry. You can learn more about each team member at Pain Trauma Institute on our website bio pages.
